Trucker’s Atlas Founder Doug Marvin, pictured with his Executive Secretary

I started Trucker’s Atlas in 2009 when my band broke up and other bands kept asking me if they could borrow my van. I recognized a professional opportunity, and very quickly I transitioned into tour management and backline rentals. In 2021, I started a new division, focused on artist development and management. I have been a proud member of many bands that didn’t quite make it, including Dirty on Purpose, Pursesnatchers, Drawing Boards, Neckbeard Telecaster and Black Acid. I have also played on recordings by Au Revoir Simone, Parquet Courts, Death in Vegas and Annie Hart, and toured as a drummer/percussionist with Parquet Courts, Peter Bjorn & John, and Fujiya & Miyagi. I play drums, guitar, bass and keyboards, and I’m fairly handy with Pro Tools. I have years of experience in most touring roles, such as Tour Manager, Backline Tech, Driver and Merch Purveyor. I am ecstatically married to a professional musician and have two wonderful children. We live in Ridgewood, Queens.
